Catholic Identity

What Makes Our Lady of the Angels School Different?

We strive to help our students deepen their relationships with God. Our students are surrounded by a Christ-filled environment, where respect and friendship are paramount. Students are encouraged to grow their virtues of responsibility, respect, kindness, cooperation, and reverence through their daily interactions with one another.

Many students at our school are not Catholic, but we all share desire to grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally.

We teach our students to make the world a better place through service to others. OLA students complete service projects throughout the year to help those in need. We pray that students grow to become aware of the needs around them and are inspired to make a positive difference in their communities.

We Strive to Grow...

Spiritually

Academically

Emotionally

Our Lady of The Angels' Friday Mass

Each Friday, OLA gathers as a student body to attend Mass. Our students are readers, gift bearers and altar servers. The school choir, “Seraphim” leads us in song. Students and faculty value this time to pray together.

Students in grades fourth and higher are invited to be altar servers at Mass. They are trained to know how to serve at Mass and participate in daily Mass as they take turns serving throughout the year.

Virtue Slips

“Virtue Slips” are presented to students who demonstrate exemplary growth in the virtues of responsibility, respect, kindness, cooperation, and reverence. Virtue Slips are recognized at daily morning meetings and at weekly Mass.

Student of The Month

The Knights of Columbus acknowledge one student from each grade as a “Student of the Month.” These students practice living the values of our mission daily in the school environment. The Knights of Columbus present their award at Friday Mass once a month.
