Choir

Seraphim

Under the direction of Mrs. Diane Cook, our school’s choir, “Seraphim”, meets once a week on Thursdays, directly after school until 3:50. Students in grades 3 through 8 are invited to participate in “Seraphim” at no extra cost.

Musical enrichment and vocal training is the focus of this group using music that is fun to learn and sing. Students learn to sing and harmonize as a group. Our students enjoy using the hand bells and have entertained our families many times throughout the year.

“Seraphim” sings weekly at our school Mass and travels beyond our school borders to go out into our community. This year, our choir shared our love for music and our Catholic faith at Christmastime with residents at St. Anne’s Retirement Home. We supported our community by singing at the Night of Remembrance Prayer Service for Martin Luther King Jr. Our Veterans were treated to a concert in November, and we spread cheer around town by Christmas caroling through the streets of Columbia.
